This is just out of pure interest.... What other games are out there in your Playstation land that you treasure? What other wonders are on your shelves? (Or heaped in a huge mess on the floor). Personally I am a great fan of World of Warcraft (MMORPG). Please reply....

Man, that's a big question there, Dunnstun.... Well, besides Ape Escape I am a big fan of the Legend of Zelda games and I have all of them except Oracle of Ages and Four Swords Adventures. Other than that I enjoy playing Worms, Rayman, Time Crisis (when I wind up in an Arcade somewhere with nothing to do) and various old PlayStation games nobody probably remembers anymore ....

Amazing what is out there... Apart from my mad obsession to World of Warcraft, I enjoy random games like Time Splitters, Worms (fantastic choice there Mr Big Cheese) and a variety of racing games like Gran Turismo 4 and !!!!!!BURNOUT!!!!!! (VERY good game). I usually am not to fond of the chartoonish platform games but Ape Escape kinda sticks out at me..

Lol glad to have another Worms fan on Go Ape . Anyway, I agree, Ape Escape is kind of.... different to other platform games. It has a darker story (or it certainly does in the original anyway) than most other platform games, some awesome 3D adventure and puzzle elements and most of all jokes aimed at both kids and adults. So indeed, all hail Ape Escape ! And speaking of Gran Turismo I got the original a while ago now and it was quite entertaining, another good PS racing classic was WipEout, anyone played that?

YES I HAVE!!! It is the fastest maddest game ever, and amazingly addicting, whoever made this (I can't remember) were pure geniuses.

I remember playing on WWF, it was all right but I still think it needed a bit of work here and there....
Anyway, in response to Emperor Dunnstun the guys who made WipEout were an awesome team named "Psygnosis" (they've now changed their name to "SCE Studios Liverpool") who also made the old Destruction Derby games.... good times....

Man the destruction derby games what an eyesore they were, terrible. But on the topic of smashy smashy car racing type games Demolition Racer was a fantastic game which bought me many hours of enjoyment with me friends.... By the way has anyone ever played a game called Quake?

Though I have heard of Quake many times I haven't played on it and I also never played Demolition Racer either.... The only game series I like in the first person shoot 'em up genre is Time Crisis.... they just always entertain me whenever I'm in an Arcade ;D.
